Son of a painter, Emmanuel Zurini was born on January 24th, 1942 in Paris.
He left school at 16 to work as an apprentice seaman in the French merchant marine for two years.
In 1957 he met Jean-Pierre Beltoise, thanks to whom he got his start as a Formula 1 Grand Prix photographer.
He co-founded the photo agency DPPI in 1966, and turned his hand to sculpture in 1975.
In October of that year, Maître Hervé Poulain sold Zurini’s first sculpture at auction at the Salle Drouot in Paris.
From then until 1978 he pursued both careers. In 1979 he worked as a photographer under exclusive contract to ELF while preparing his first major sculpture exhibitions.
He quit his job as photographer end of 1996 to consecrate his whole time as a sculptor.
Born in Maine-et-Loire in 1976 of a father working for the government and of a mother, needlewoman, the love was always present in the heart his family. His parents very opened to his projects encouraged at first to him to make some music before learning about the painting. He will begin his studies in the Fine arts school of Angers and will teach it all the disciplines of the pastel drawing by way of the oil painting as well as the one-design monotype, the engraving and the cartoon film on glass. He will obtain in 2000 his DNAP diploma and will dedicate itself to the cartoon movies. The crystallized image will become then its main means of expression of which he presents you here his most sensual works. His technique is very particular, it consists in realizing its painting back to front on glass plate what makes impossible any overpaintings once painted parts are crystallized . For his works, the artist uses some lacquer, varnishs, acrylic and gold.
Born in 1958 Francois Duerinckx studied at some leading photographic schools in France, but his interest was always within the motorsport and racing realms, where he was recognized as a prestigious mechanics.
A man of many talents, Francois is showing a unique perception of reality and offers a renewed vision of 21st Century Pop Art through his collection “Fashion Show Pop Models Art,” based on beautiful women in the form of unique decorated mannequins with a variety of symbols and international brands. His master piece is the “Taurine”, a unique sculpture made from the famous cans of Red Bull.
The Artist has also many other passions from collecting unique wrist watches to motorbikes, classic cars and fine art. He is the founder of Art Wanson Gallery, at the Marbella Club Hotel (Spain).
